In creation of this project I looked to forms in architecture such as suspension bridges to inform the movement of this piece. I used heat-bent acrylic plastic and thread to make this shape. I strove to achieve a movement that suggested a gentle twist that spoke with the slow rotation of the 2-dimentional arcs on each of the acrylic surfaces.
